We will be accepting new and gently used furnishings and accessories.  To be presentable for sale in our shop, furniture must be clean, dust free, sturdy, and in good condition, with no major stains, tears or musty odors.  *Please email us a picture of your item before loading it if you have a question concerning our guidelines and whether your item will be accepted. 

The price you ask and can expect to receive for your items depends on their shape.  Spruce them up before you consign.  Wax wood with polish, tighten bolts or touch up with paint to make a good first impression.  Refinishing is NEVER advised for actual antiques as they lose value.

When pricing your items, our suggestion is to consign them for 30% to 50% of the original price, depending on the age and condition of the item. 

The price you ask for an item is non-negotiable.  We will not accept any offers, the price is firm.  Keep in mind that on the last day,

EVERYTHING WILL BE DISCOUNTED.  

As a consignor, you determine whether a piece will be discounted  for 20% or 50% OFF.  Please mark YES for discount when entering your items if you are allowing that item to go 50% off.  We will mark your price tags accordingly with a sticker when you come in (the bar code will automatically scan at 50% off).  We will share with the public on the last day which % goes with which color.  Your earnings will be calculated on the final selling price.  If you are allowing your items to just go 20% off, we will put a different sticker on your tags and override the price to reflect 20% off when it is being purchased.

All consignors will be paid 60% of the selling price.  This is a change from past sales.  We are aware of the economic conditions in our area and across the nation and will be doing our part by giving our consignors a bigger percentage of the selling price.  There will be no fee to consign, either. These policies are subject to change after the Spring 2009 sale.
